AMD ’s xx00 cards have always been defined by mid-range prices with performance that knocks on the door of high-end graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the RDNA 1.0 graphics card inside the RX 5600 XT, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend.
Spec for spec, this RX 5600 XT leapfrogs its direct predecessor, the RX 590, by boasting 31.1 % more fps. Compared to its NVIDIA 's closest rival, GTX 1660 Ti, the RX 5600 XT was 9.9 % faster.
Fortunately, gaming performance was quite impressive. The RX 5600 XT consistently delivers great frame rate increases over the RX 590 and it really justifies an upgrade. For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Elden Ring, Marvel's Avengers, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Dying Light 2, Total War: Warhammer III at 62 fps to 66 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 63 fps.
For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Just Cause 4, Godfall, Resident Evil 4, Far Cry 6, Final Fantasy XV at 61 fps to 62 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 62 fps. For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Overwatch 2, Valorant at 71 fps to 149 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 110 fps.

For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Resident Evil 2, Far Cry 5, Resident Evil 4, Far Cry New Dawn, Death Stranding at 60 fps to 63 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 62 fps.
