NVIDIA ’s xx30 cards have always been defined by budget prices with performance that knocks on the door of entry-level graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the Pascal graphics card inside the GT 1030, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend.
The GT 1030 sits between the RX 460 and the RX 550, falling slower than RX 460 by 4.5% and faster than RX 550 by 29.4%. It has below average relative performance against every graphics card here.
The GT 1030 sits between the RX 460 and the RX 550, falling slower than RX 460 by 9.5% and faster than RX 550 by 9.9%. It has below average relative performance against every graphics card here.
Conclusion. Given the GeForce GT 1030’s resource deficit compared to Radeon RX 550, Nvidia fares remarkably well with GP108. In older DirectX 9- and 11-based games, it’s typically faster ...
According to NVIDIA's official specifications, the reference GeForce GT 1030 was shipped with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory running at 6008 MHz (GDDR5-effective) across a 64-bit wide memory bus which amassed to a memory bandwidth of 48 GB/s.
Gigabyte GeForce GT 1030 Low Profile 2G The length of Gigabyte's GeForce GT 1030 Low Profile 2G, from the edge of its slot bracket to the end of the cooler, is just 15.2cm. Its height, from the ...
In reality, GeForce GT 1030 is the spiritual successor of GT 730 since Nvidia never created a 900-series product below the $160 GTX 950. Spec-wise, the Kepler-class GeForce GT 730 is a much closer ...
The GeForce GT 1030 also packs 2GB of of vRAM, a boost clock of 1468MHz, and a maximum resolution of 7680-by-4320 at 60Hz. The reference build calls for one DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0b with HDCP 2 ...
NVIDIA is preparing to address the market with the new GeForce GT 1030 graphics card, based on its "Pascal" architecture. The SKU will be based on the new 14 nm "GP108" silicon, and could feature up to 512 CUDA cores, and up to 2 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 128-bit wide interface.
GT1030 2GB Vs RX550 2GB?Which should I take GT1030 2GB Vs RX550 2GB? please don't ask me to increase budget.

The same performance, but GT 1030 is trustful. Don't need to care about anything like BIOS, Driver, etc...And, some lower budget than RX 550.

RX 550 vs GT 1030How do the RX 550 and the GT 1030 compare? If the RX 550 is better, are there any low profile single slot cards out there?

The RX 550 is a little bit faster than the GT 1030. Low profile single slot cards also exist. The problem here is that the RX 550 is currently more expensive than it is really worth. It is only 14% faster but is $30-$40 more expensive.

gt 1030 or gtx 750ti for hp office pcI have a hp Compaq pro 6300 sff with a i5 34708gb of ddr31tb hard drivethe psu is only 240 watts can it handle a 750 ti? and if so can I upgrade overtime with other parts?

Those (2)+12v rails combined are good for 240W (probably more, in reality). That is easily enough for the GTX 750 Ti and even the GTX 1050 Ti if you get one that is not factory OC'ed and has no 6-pin requirement.I have a GTX 1050 Ti running in my Optiplex 790 SFF on a PSU that only has a single 17 amp +12v rail.

Fanless vs fan GPUs (GT 1030/RX 550)I noticed that some manufacturers have made fanless versions of these budget GPUs. However, are there any difference in gaming performance between fanless and fan? If not, then I'll consider buying the fanless one for my silent gaming PC build
What to Consider Before Buying a Graphics Card
If you have been planning to upgrade your system by purchasing a new graphics card. Then there are some important factors to consider.
Resolution VS Quality: Impact on Game Performance
What affects game performance? Clarity or Details?
Ultra VS High Quality Settings in PC Games
Every player has a different notion about the ideal setting for PC games. But in most cases, opting for a High quality graphics configuration is the way to go.
What are CPU or GPU Bottlenecks?
Are you getting sudden frame drops? you might have a bottleneck.
What is the acceptable FPS speed for me?
For some games, you can still enjoy great garphics at lower frame rates.
